Obituary of Cora Marguerite Dillman
DILLMAN , Cora Marguerite -age 93 of Carroll’s Corner, formerly of Antrim, passed away March 6, 2022, in Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro. Born in Lantz Siding, she was a daughter of the late Russell and Florence (Fraser) Dillman.
Cora was a wonderful lady, a hard worker and was very loyal to her family. She loved playing cards, picking blueberries, watching The Price is Right, Family Feud and Let’s Make a Deal. She enjoyed camping, travelling to Prince Edward Island and Cape Breton; she has fond memories of her trips to Pennsylvania visiting her grandson. She loved all her children and grandchildren and recently has had a shine to Xavier, “her boy”. She loved baking pies and bread -there was always something to eat. Cora loved music and would get up to dance whenever the opportunity presented itself.
She is survived by her children, Minnie McMullin, Cora (Frank) De’Ell, Darren (Linda) Dillman; grandchildren, Greg, Dwayne, Kenneth, Tracy, Lisa, Roderick, several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.; brothers, Bernie and Clinton; numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Chester; sons, David, Pat and Kenny, infant daughter, Florence; brothers, Vincent, Oral, Sandy and Charlie; sisters, Loretta Dillman and Joyce Boutilier.
Visitation will be held 7-9pm Wednesday, March 9th in Ettinger Funeral Home, 2812 Highway 2, Shubenacadie. Funeral Service will be held 3pm Thursday, March 10th in St. Paul’s Church, Antrim; Rev. Allan Lynk officiating. A reception will follow in the church hall.
