Constance “Connie” Shirley Elaine (Black) Allen of Miramichi NB passed away suddenly on November 25, 2022, at the Miramichi Regional Hospital at the age of 85. Connie was born in Boiestown NB, on May 27, 1937. She was the daughter of the late Hugh and Alice (Munn) Black.
Connie was a member of the Order of Eastern Star #42 and member of the St. James and St. John United Church Women’s League.
Connie is survived by her husband, Joe Allen of Miramichi, NB; sons, Gary Allison (Mary) of Miramichi, NB and Brian Allison (Jeannie) of Fredericton NB; grandson Cory Allison (Emily); granddaughters Christina Ryan (Jordan), Samantha Allison and Brittany Wight (Taylor); great-grandchildren Henry Allison and Palmer Ryan; sisters Agnes Stevens of Miramichi NB; Irene Dickson and Noreen Bemrose, both of Fredericton NB. Connie is also survived by Joe’s daughter Tammie (Rick) and their children Tasha and Marcus, of British Columbia, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
Besides her parents, Connie was predeceased by daughter Carolyn Demers; sisters Sadie Fowler, and Leola Gulliver; brothers Ned Black, Manley Black, Hedley Black, Laurie Black, Audrey Black, Harry black and Hugh Black. JR
By request there will be no visitation. Funeral Service for Connie will be held on Monday, December 5, 2022, from St. James and St. John United Church 556 King George Highway Miramichi NB at 11 AM with Rev. Alice Szemok officiating. Burial will be held at a later in the Miramichi Cemetery.
