Connie Earlene Brewster 1949 2022

Obituary of Connie Earlene Brewster
Her earthly journey ended and now she’s in the arms of Jesus! We said goodbye to the most generous, funny and kind hearted woman on May 19th 2022. Born on December 12, 1949 and in her 73rd year Connie Earlene Brewster passed quietly and with no pain or suffering.
Connie leaves behind her ex-husband, the love of her life and best friend Barry Brewster; who spent many days together at the coffee shop, going for adventurous drives and travelling down memory lane together; even long after their divorce, her eldest child whom she shared a bond with that was special & indescribable Pam(Glen) Higgins, her second child whom she loved dearly and enjoyed seeing and having morning coffee with Brad(Wendy) Brewster, 3 grandchildren Spencer, Victoria(Chris) & Danielle and 2 great grandchildren Kaden and Samson.
Mom loved to laugh and loved making others feel special. She often put her own needs aside to meet the needs of friends & family. She loved the beach…really loved the beach!!! Countless memories at Ipperwash as a child, teenager and as a Mom and Nana! She loved to read and her huge book collection proved that! And she indulged in watching old tv programs daily; The Waltons & Little House on the Prairie were at the top of her list. She watched cooking shows and collected recipes.
Mom made friends easily! She had a unique sarcasm and straight to the point personality that her closest friends could handle! You never had to guess what her opinion was on any topic.
Connie worked many jobs throughout her life that included Maple Lynn Farms, Langs Bus Lines, Strathroy Police Department, TSC, Canadian Tire and Strathmere Lodge. She volunteered for many years for multiple charities in fundraising, particularly at Bingo Country Strathroy and St. Thomas.
Mom loved travelling! Cruises and a few trips to the Dominican Republic were highlights for her!
She had an incredible memory!! She would share names & birthdates & anniversaries of people that she knew from childhood. She could always remember details of specific times she spent with someone.
She was genuine and truly authentic! And she accepted you for you with no judgment!
She loved the Lord and spent time in His word and in prayer daily. If you needed advice or were struggling she would point you to Jesus. Her faith carried her through her life.
Thank you to all the staff at Craigwiel Gardens for making Moms time there fun and comfortable. Thank you to Dr. Solimons & the nurses in ICU and 1 South at Strathroy General Hospital.
As per Connie’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held at a later date. Elliott-Madill Funeral Home entrusted with arrangements.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Connie
