Mrs. Connie Moreland, a life long resident, of Wallaceburg, passed away on Friday, October 21, 2022 at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, in Chatham, at the age of 79 years.
She was born in Chatham, a daughter of the Edward and Yvonne (Roegiest) Blake. Beloved wife of Gary Moreland.
Loving mother and mother-in-law of Yvette (Barry Lightfoot) Bowsher, Darryl Williams, Jennifer (Claudio Zimmerman) Moreland and the late Vance (Donna St. John) Williams.
Dear grandmother of Jessica, Cassandra, Nathan, Nicole, and great grandmother of Caiden, Xander, Darryl, Chase, Evie. Grady, River and Tahlah.
Kind sister and sister-in-law of Pat (Mike) Suisham, and John (Margie) Blake.
Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Connie had worked, in Wallaceburg, at Libby Glass. She was known for her pride and dedication to the CBD club in Wallaceburg. She was always a part of the CBD Club as her grandmother was a pioneer bond holder. She was a board member for 25 years and president for 19 years. She will always be remembered by her friends and family of the CBD Club.
The late Connie Moreland rested at the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home Ltd. 639 Elgin St., Wallaceburg and cremation has taken place.
A celebration of life will be held at the CBD Club in Wallaceburg on Saturday, October 29, 2022 from 2-4 p.m.
As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Lend A Hand Breakfast Program may be left at the funeral home.
