It is with great sadness that the family share that Connie Hansen, in her 86th year, passed peacefully on the morning of Saturday, May 14, 2022. Connie passed away with the love of her family surrounding her.
Beloved wife of 63 years to Willy Hansen, she was his “snuske basse”. Devoted mother of Tom Hansen (Angela), Anette Rigby (Nigel), Alice Rigby, and John Hansen. Proud Mormor to Derrick (Jade), Keith, Tanner (Melissa) and Travis and cherished Farmor to Kyle (Christine), Kayla (Chris), and Grace. Treasured great grandmother to Lucas and Marceline.
Connie’s love of gardening and taking care of her family was known to all. Her elegance, warmth, and kindness did not go unnoticed by anyone.
At Willy’s 14th Birthday Party, their true love story began. For 71 years they created unforgettable memories and experiences together. Connie/Mom/Grandmother and friend, your affection, devotion, tenderness and compassion will live on in all of us that you have touched. Love you always and forever.
Arrangements entrusted to Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, as per Connie’s wishes, cremation has taken place. The family invites you to a Celebration of Life for Connie which will be held at Sunset Villa – The Danish Place Restaurant, 7150 Concession 1, Puslinch, on Thursday, May 19th 2022 at 6:00pm.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations to Alzheimer’s Society, Cambridge Butterfly Conservatory, or DolphinProject.com in her memory.
