February 19th 1944 to June 16th 2022
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Colin Beaton in his 79th year at Bowmanville hospital with family by his side. Beloved husband of Glenda Beaton (nee Carter) of nearly 53 years. Loving father to Christine, Warren and Charlotte. Adored father in law to Debbie and Rob. Cherished Papa to Shae-Lynn, Joseph, Shawn, Declan and Caitlin. A Celebration of Life is being planned for a later date.
In lieu of flowers and cards please send donations to the Bowmanville Hospital Redevelopment Initiative OR Durham Region Hospice (Clarington site). Donations may be made by mailing a cheque (made out to the desired charity) to the funeral home.

I met Colin in 1951 at Oriole Park Public School and we became best friends. Later we became neighbors in Leaside Ontario and ran the 82nd A cub pack for several years. I will always remember Colin’s wit and sense of humour. I have many fond memories of Colin.
