Obituary
Ross, Colby Whitman – 25, of Clam Point, passed away suddenly on December 24, 2022 at his residence. Born on October 12, 1997 he was a son of Johney Ross and Melinda (Amiro) Ross.
He loved music and enjoyed playing his guitar. Colby went lobster fishing with his dad aboard the Kayla & Colby. He enjoyed spending time with his family, his cat, Zazz and driving around and hanging out with friends.
Colby is survived by his father, Johney (Gwen) Ross; mother, Melinda Amiro (Buddy); sister, Kayla (Jeff) Waye; nephews, Brayden and Deacon Waye; step-brothers, Kenny Crowell, James (Krista) Crowell, Ernest (Faye) Crowell, Jordan Chetwynd, Andrew Chetwynd, Brendan Chetwynd and Cale Chetwynd; step-sister, Taylor Chetwynd; godmother, Rhonda Amirault Townsend; godfather, Justin Amiro; Grandfather, Wentzel (Margaret) Ross; grandmother, Denise Amiro. Colby was predeceased by his grandfather, Sam (Anselm Amiro) and grandmother, Susie Ross.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 30, from 6-8 pm at the H.M. Huskilsons Funeral Home, Barrington. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 31, at 2:00 pm from the Stoney Island United Baptist Church, with Pastor Wayne Crowell officiating.
