Clyde Ferguson Buckie Coleman 1935 2021

It is with sadness we announce the passing of
Clyde Ferguson “Buckie”
Coleman, 85 years of Springhill, on Tuesday, December
21, 2021 at High Crest Nursing Home.
Born in Springhill, he was a son of the Late George D. and
Hannah M. (MacLeod) Coleman.
Clyde was an adherent to the Saint David’s Presbyterian
Church, Springhill. He served about 8 years in the Royal Canadian Air
Force. Clyde was an active participant at the GOVRC for many
years.
The last surviving member of his immediate family, he will be
sadly missed by a niece Nancy Coleman, Sturgeon Falls, ON and a nephew
Daniel (Lucy) Coleman, Sturgeon Falls, ON, as well as several
cousins.
He was predeceased by a sister, Eleanor Mitchell; brothers,
Donald, Blair, Elvin, Murray, Harmon, and an infant
brother.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of
A. H. Brown Funeral Home, 5 McFarlane
Street, Springhill, (902 597 2361). A Graveside Service will
be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, June 1, 2022, in Hillside Cemetery,
Springhill, Life Celebrant Scott Balser officiating.
Buckie’s family wish to extend heartfelt thanks to the High
Crest Nursing home for the wonderful care they provided over the
years.
Those wishing to make a donation in Clyde’s memory may do so
to the Canadian Red Cross Society, or a charity of your
choice.
