1934-2022
With his family by his side, Clifford William Saunders passed away
peacefully at the Tobique Valley Manor on August 19, 2022.
Clifford was born in Plaster Rock, NB, on May 4, 1934. He was the son
of the late Charles and Ida (Daye) Saunders. Clifford leaves behind
his loving wife of 57 years, Violet Saunders (Arsenault); his
daughters, Brenda Verret (James) of Courtney, BC, Kathryn Demarsh
(John) of Plaster Rock, NB, Suzanne Saunders (Matthew Ward) of Barrie,
ON; his sons, Clarence Saunders of Aurora, ON, Arnold Saunders of
Cambridge, ON; his nine grandchildren and several great grandchildren;
his sister, Nancy Geneau of Plaster Rock, NB; along with several
nieces and nephews.
Clifford was predeceased by his parents; his son, Wetzel Saunders; his
sisters, Marion Gagnon and Donna Thibodeau; his brothers, Clarence
“Bud” Saunders and Charles “Butch” Saunders; his
grandchildren, Michael and Sheana Verret.
Resting at the Family Worship Center in Plaster Rock, NB, with
visitation on Monday from 1-3 pm. Funeral service will be held at the
Family Worship Center on Monday, August 22, 2022 at 3 pm. Pastor D.R.
McKillop officiating. Interment will follow in the Plaster Rock
Community Cemetery.
For those who wish, memorial donations to the Family Worship Center
Building Fund would be appreciated by the family.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Brunswick Funeral Home,
Perth-Andover and Plaster Rock, NB.
