Clifford Joseph Vandale, late of St. Louis, Sask passed away suddenly on Feb 21st, 2021, at his #1 girl, Christine’s home, where he spent his final moments with her and her family at the young age of 51 years. It is with heavy hearts and a loss so deep, we lovingly remember, our brother, son, uncle, buddy and friend. Cliff lived life to the fullest and was happy. He had a fabulous life doing what he wanted to do and he had fun doin it. His “lets party and enjoy life vibe will be a memory many will cherish for years to come. Clifford was born to Edward Ted (Sonny) Vandale and Marlene (Richard) on September 15th, 1969. He attended school in St.Louis till grade 8. He then went on to finish his grade 10. He had many odd jobs through out his life. He was a cook, a labourer, he did respite, and he did wheel barrelling. He worked with his dad, and then his brother Jeff in cement finishing. Clifford was our caregiver! He was our gentle giant who had a big heart, and he always wanted to do for everyone in the family. When he cooked, he cooked for the entire family. There were many meals for us to get together, smile, laugh and have fun. He doted on the kids too… he was their uncle Cliff! He enjoyed watching them by the pool, he loved to cook for them, he cherished babysitting them, he treasured them so much, he took them to the movies, the lake, the beach or just for a drive around town. He adored his nieces and nephews, the foster kids, the children from his second family and the children from his buddies and friends. They were all near to his heart and he was a great Uncle to them. Cliff loved his #1 girl, his queen, his best friend, Christine Korecki. He adored her family (his second family), the Korecki’s. The Korecki’s place was always home to him. Cliff was family and he was always welcomed there. He could be found there all the time visiting and just hanging out. His smile, his laugh and fun nature will forever be cherished. Cliff was one of the best! He was a friend to everyone! He loved to be with others, to do for others and have a great time with others. It was never a dull moment when Cliff was around. Nobody could make you laugh like Clifford could. He loved to hang out, play cards, dance, listen to his favourite tunes, go back road cruising, party, attend any special occasion (or maybe every occasion was special), and just drop in for a visit. So many happy memories Cliff’s buddies and friends will cherish. We all loved the big guy. The crew got to have one last hoorah at his house before he left this world. For you and your friends, ‘cheers’ until you meet again. Your family, your #1 girl, your second family, your buddies, your friends, your “big momma’s (as you called them), all the kids, and this town will never be the same now that you are gone. We will miss your smile, your laugh, your love of life and your fun nature. Cliff was predeceased by: his loving mother Marlene, his great niece or nephew angel baby, his grandparents Albert and Eva Richard, Joseph and Marguerite Vandale, his aunts Eileen, Isabelle, Brenda, and Delores, his uncles Clarence and Royale. His cousins Priscilla, Liam, Jayson and Richard. Cliff leaves to mourn his passing and cherish his memories: his caring dad, Edward T (Sonny), his brother Jeff (Dayna), his sisters Michelle and Loretta, his neices and nephews; Jayden, Jerran, Tenika, Tanner, and Dreton, Calvin, Brayden, Cairon, Sheila, Cole, Theron, Kalan, Shane, Paige, Tiara, Elena, and Gabriel. The kids who mom & dad raised, Colin, Brian, Kevin and Cory. His uncles; Donald (Patsy), Raymond, Roy (Connie), Napoleon (Debra), Bentley (Corina), Russell (Susan), his aunties, Evelyn (Gerry), Phyllis (Joe), Denise (Hubert), and Sharon. His #1 girl, Christine Korecki and the Korecki family, Noella, Tony, Steven, Barbara and all their children, Caleigh, Jada, Christian, Zoey, Olivia, and Jacob. The Vandale family would like to extend their sincere gratitude and heartfelt thank you to everyone who held a special place in Clifford’s heart. We know he will be watching over us from heaven, watching over, his #1 girl, his dad, his bro Jeff, his sisters, his family, his second family, his buddies, all the kiddos and his special girls. For us, this is our good bye until we see you again. We will take care of dad (we knew you always worried about him and loved him so much) And Jeff and Dayna got everyone down here! Our biggest comfort … is knowing … our gentle giant is safe in the arms of mom! Give mom a big hug for us. We love you both and will cherish the memories of you both forever. Rest in peace little bro! Thank you to Stephanie Lynn and Manny Araujo who graciously offered to pay for Clifford’s funeral expenses, we love you and are forever grateful. Due to Covid -19, funeral arrangements will be made at the St. Louis Roman Catholic Church. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Marc Blondeau of Kushneryk Funeral Service, Wakaw, Sask.
