Clifford George Foote
1935-2022
Clifford George Foote – age 86, of
Coldbrook, passed away in Blomidon Court – Shannex,
Greenwich on Thursday, February 3, 2022. Born in Berwick, he was a son
of the late Lindsay and Gladys (Dodge)
Foote.
Clifford was a farmer for most of his life,
worked in construction for his brother-in-law, Karl and worked at
Standard Paving for 19 years retiring in
1988.
He is survived by his brother, Lawrence
(Doreen) Foote, Ross Corner; stepson, Daniel Curran; two
step-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Also left to mourn
is Clifford’s best friend, Ross Skinner. In addition to his
parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Vera (Slaunwhite); brother,
Jerry (Dorothy) Foote; and sisters, Marjorie (Eldon) Brewster, Phyllis
(Karl) Schmidt.
Cremation has taken place. A graveside service
will be held in Lakeview Cemetery, Lakeville, Kings County at a later
date. Donations in memory may be made to a charity of the
donor’s choice. Funeral
arrangements have been entrusted to the
White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville.
