Stewart Donald Kermath Claybrook was born April 5, 1942, in Wolverhampton, England to Donald and Jean Claybrook. Stewart spent the first 30 years of his life in Wales working as a farm laborer and a coal miner. In the early 1970’s Stewart left Wales and came to Canada to begin a new journey in his life. Stewart spent the next 20 years working in the oil field and later working odd jobs to fill his time.
In his free time Stewart enjoyed fishing, hunting and gold mining in the Yukon.
Later in life Stewart met his partner, Eileen. They loved to to “saleing” a.k.a going to garage sales. They collected many beautiful items which they displayed in their home of 14 years before Eileen passed away.
Stewart was predeceased by his parents Donald and Jean, and his partner Eileen.
Stewart is survived by his two sons Marc Claybrook (Hillary) of Mayerthorpe and Donet Benoit (Rhonda) of Grande Prairie, brothers, Allan Claybrook (Marion) of Mayerthorpe, Colin Claybrook (Gil) of Llangollen, Wales and sisters Jackie Evans of Oswestry, England, Helen Bithell (Raymond) of Llangollen, Wales, Janet Davies (Raymond) of Cynwyd, Wales and a large circle of nieces and nephews.
We would like to thank each and every one of you who have supported Stewart through these past two difficult years, your kindness was greatly appreciated and will never be forgotten.
