It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Claudia
Anne Tucker (Palmer) at Pine Grove Nursing Home on Tuesday March 15,
2022. Born in Moncton, NB on August 6, 1939, she was the
daughter of the late Leonard and Vesta (Chisholm)
Palmer.
Claudia leaves behind her two daughters, Martha Babin and
Laura Tucker of Fredericton; Daughter in law Darlene Tucker of
Calgary; Grandchildren, Stephanie (Brent) Henry of Fredericton; Justin
Chapman (Nicola Clarke) of Fredericton; Richard Tucker and Rebecca
Tucker of Calgary; Great grandchildren, Katelyn, Amelia and Ivy Anne,
and her Brother, Dereck (Myrna) Palmer of Moncton.
Besides Claudia’s parents she was predeceased by
her husband of 62 years Richard “Dick” Tucker, Son Richard
(Rick) Tucker and son in law Brian “JEBB”
Babin.
Claudia played an active role in the Marysville Baptist
Church. She particularly enjoyed singing in the
choir. She was also an avid reader and loved to take long
walks. Her greatest joy was her grandchildren whom she loved
to spoil; they fondly referred to her as
“Bam”.
At this time, we would like to extend our immense gratitude
to the entire staff at Pine Grove Nursing Home. Over the
past five and a half years they attended to our mother with genuine
care and compassion. Their professionalism and dedication gave us
comfort knowing she was getting the best care possible. They
provided us with guidance and support during her time there,
especially in her final days. We Thank you.
There will be no visitation at the request of the
family. A private service and grave side burial will be held
at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Pine
Grove Foundation, NB Alzheimer’s Society, SPCA or
the donor’s choice would be appreciated.
Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Claudia Anne Tucker 1939 2022..
