Claudette Coco Beneteau nee Ouellette 2022

Passed away peacefully at Hotel Dieu Hospital on Monday, November 7th at the age of 77. Beloved wife of William “Bill” Beneteau. Loving Mother of Ron (Lynn), Michael, Steven (Kim) and Michelle. Coco’s joy was the love of the next generations in her arms. Cherished Grandmother of Brieann, Blake, Aaron (Sonia), Destin and Leif. Adored Great Grandmother of Colton, Brooklyn and Beckham. Survived by brothers and sisters James Ouellette (Mary Ellen), Mary Margaret Ladouceur, Camille Levesque (Brian Bringleson), Annette Fischer (Stan), Louis Ouellette (Kathy Williams). Predeceased by brother William Ouellette and his late wife Ellen. She will be missed by many nieces and nephews who adored their Aunt Coco.”People” were what was important to her. Coco as she was known by all, was always greeting everyone with a warm smile and open heart. She loved meeting people and getting to know them and was so caring about making people feel important. She was a mean card shark though; especially cribbage. A bingo addict and Casino Windsor enthusiast whether it was for a show or her favourite slot machine with Bill, her partner in crime. Her passion for games led her to starting “Bingo with Coco” at Kensington Court (where she has resided for the last year and a half). She was an active volunteer and current Past-President of the LaSalle Friendship Club, Special to her were her times traveling and visiting British Columbia to spend time with her daughter and Brother. Close to her heart were the fun times she had with her sisters and their girls trips. Especially being together on St. Joseph’s Island. She was blessed to get some memorable visits this summer to the family cottage in Tobermory. Memories she held dear to her heart. Thank you to the kind staff at Kensington Court and both the Emergency Room and 3R Nurses: Kyle, Nicole, Dan and Dr Haddadd for their excellent and compassionate care of Coco. Cremation has taken place. Because Coco loved a good party with Elvis music a memorial party will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers or if so desired donations can be made to the Hospital for Sick Children (a charity dear to her heart) or the Canadian Diabetes Association. Arrangements entrusted to Families First, 3260 Dougall Ave. South Windsor, 519-969-5841.
