At the Hawkesbury & District General Hospital on Saturday, August 6, 2022. Claude Campeau of Alexandria; age 79 years. Beloved husband of Rita Campeau (née Lapensee). Loving father of Sylvie Major (Mark), and Mike Campeau (Teresa Brown) both of Alexandria. Cherished grandfather of Adam Major (Martine) and Emily Major (Marc-André Gauthier), and great great-grandfather of Lïa and Kenneth Major. Caring brother of Gaëtan (Germaine), Rhéal (Bernadette), Rita Robinson (J.K), Carmen MacDonald (Lucien Dumont), and Robert Campeau all of Alexandria, Carole Dumouchel (Henry) of N.B., and Lise Haines (Jack) of Cornwall. Predeceased by brothers Yvan Campeau, and Laurent Campeau (Diane of Cornwall). Dear son of Anna Campeau (née Brunet) of Alexandria, and the late Lorenzo Campeau. The family will be in attendance at the Église Sacré-Coeur, Alexandria on Friday, August 12, 2022 from 10 am until the time of the Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am. Arrangements under the care and direction of the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 114 Main St. South, Alexandria (613-525-2772). As expressions of sympathy Memorial Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family. As a Memorial to Claude a tree will be planted in a memory woods.
