Clarence Carman Adshade 1941 2022

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of
Clarence Carman Adshade, 81, of Port
Howe, NS, at his residence on Friday, February 25, 2022. Born in
Amherst, Clarence was a son of the late Carman and Mable (Archibald)
Adshade.
Clarence had been married to the late Helen
(MacAloney-Rushton). During his lifetime he had multiple positions
including, truck driver, linesman, woodsman, worked with CNR and then
with Ski Wentworth operating machinery until his
retirement.
Clarence will be dearly missed by his
step-children, Alan (Isabella) Rushton, Amherst, Julie (Carl)
McManaman, Amherst, Glen (Alisia) Rushton, Oxford, Marlene (Calvin)
Moody, Ottawa, and Peggy Rushton, Amherst; multiple grandchildren and
great grandchildren; his siblings, Betty (Andrew) Calder, Enfield,
Norman (Carolyne) Adshade, Oxford, and Femmie (Ron) Herrett,
Springhill; half-sister, Evelyn (Gary) Ross, Virginia; a
sister-in-law, Sheila, Moncton; a special friend, Carolyn Merrey, as
well as several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, Clarence was predeceased by his wife,
Helen; a brother, Wayne, and a brother-in-law, Michael
Calder.
Arrangements have been entrusted into the care and guidance
of W. Allen Funeral Home, 60 Water
Street, Oxford, NS (902-447-2167). Honouring Clarence’s wishes,
cremation has taken place. There are to be no services at this time.
Interment will take place at a later date.
