Clara Rachael Ettie May Cleary (nee Weatheral) was welcomed home by her Lord and Saviour on Sunday, January 23, 2022 in her 93rd year. Clara passed away peacefully at Errinrung Long Term Care, Thornbury. Clara of Creemore, beloved wife of the late Ernest Cleary. Loving and devoted mother of Frederick, Richard, Rodney (Roberta), Valerie Breen, Sandie Walker, Geoffrey, Beverley Mullings (Brian), Thomas (Cindy), the late Stephen (Brenda) and Michael (Donna). Cherished Grandma and Great Grandma. Predeceased by her parents May (nee Montgomery) and Alfred Weatheral, her husband Ernest and son Stephen. Although having a hearing impairment, that did not stop her from enjoying life. She treasured her visits from her children grandchildren and great grandchildren. She devoted her many talents to her church, family and friends. She enjoyed playing a good board game when she had visitors. In her spare time, she worked on her flower gardens, puzzles, knitting, and reading. Arrangements entrusted to Chatterson Funeral Home, Collingwood. A formal visitation and memorial service for Clara will be held in the coming weeks. Interment at Dunedin Union Cemetery. Please check the funeral home website for updated memorial details.
