Green, Clara Norine
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Clara Green on Sunday, March 20th, 2022, in her 95th year at Hope Street Terrace, Port Hope. Daughter of the late Walter and Pearl Way (nee Stapley). Predeceased by her loving husband Murney Leonard Green. Clara leaves to mourn her children, daughter Gloria Smith (Wayne) of Courtice and son Douglas Green (Sharon) of Belleville. Lovingly missed by grandchildren; Stephen Smith (Stephanie), Janet Smith, Michael Green (Nichole), Julie Spence (Jason) and by great-grandchildren Liam and Chloe Smith, Wyatt and Charleigh Green, Tyson and Tori Spence. Predeceased by her siblings, Effie Way, Betty Morris (John), Harry Way (Ethel), Mary Van Dusen (Phil), Annie St. Denis (Albert), Nellie Reddick (Cleve), Lionel Way (Alice), Walter Way (Ruby), William Way (Jean), James Way, Douglas Way (Betty). Clara will be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews in both the Way and Green families as well as her sister in law Audrey Chisholm. Funeral Service will take place at the JOHN R. BUSH FUNERAL HOME, 80 Highland Ave., Belleville (613-968-5588) on Wednesday, March 23rd, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. (with visitation 1 hour prior to the service). Rev. Dr. Hal Wilson officiating. Cremation to follow. Inurnment at Belleville Cemetery will take place at a later date. If desired, memorial donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association or Alzheimer Society would be greatly appreciated by the family.
