Obituary
Clarke, Cindy Ann
(March 31st, 1960 – July 9th, 2022)
After a very long struggle with MS, Cindy passed away peacefully on July 9th at 62 years of age in Nanaimo, BC.
Cindy was loud and proud about everything she loved and equally vocal about that which she didn’t. She loved her family, the Riders and most sports. European Team Handball was a favourite and Cindy played on the Saskatchewan team that travelled to Mexico. Another highlight of her life was the many years spent as a member of The Rowdy Gang.
She will be greatly missed by her son, Quinton Clarke (Danielle Wilson), granddaughters, Kaliyah and Kaya and her daughter, Sarrena Clarke, her mother, Donna Puff and her siblings; Sherri, Mark (Gwen), Judy, Susan and Shane as well as their families, also by Gail Cook who was Cindy’s lifeline and friend for many years.
A special thank-you to the many staff members of the Nanaimo Kiwanis Village Care Centre that cared and loved her and enjoyed her spunky character.
Cindy was predeceased by her brother-in-law Ron Strassburger and her father, Richard Clarke.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her honour may be made to the MS Society of Canada.
A private family Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.
