Obituary of Christopher James Clift
Chris passed away peacefully on September 14th in his 75th year at the Hospice of Waterloo surrounded by his family. He is survived by his loving wife, May Banks and his children, Katherine (Richard) Walsh and Carleton (Brittany) Banks. Proud grandfather to Evelyn and Leota and his family in England. Predeceased by his parents, Charles and Rhoda Clift and brother Graham.
He was an avid gardener. He enjoyed helping those around him, especially his family and neighbours. He enjoyed spending time outdoors and could frequently be seen walking the trails often with his dog, Bella.
A special thanks to the doctors and team at Grand River Cancer Centre as well as the staff and volunteers at the Hospice of Waterloo.
Cremation will take place. A private family service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Hospice of Waterloo or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
