Christopher Gordon Schwede October 28 1972 August 18 2022

Christopher Gordon Schwede left this world on August 18, 2022 in Victoria, BC. Second born of four children on October 28, 1972 in Terrace, BC. Chris leaves behind his parents Sharon (Ray) Logan and Fred (Evelyn) Schwede, brother Shayne (Emily), sister Tammy and his Irish twin, Candice (Marcus). Chris will also be missed by his daughter Olivia, and her mom, Erica, as well as many nieces including Shaelee, Lacey, Viella, and Kayla and adoring nephews, Noah and Khristian.
Chris worked hard to earn his Red Seal Journeymen Electricians status as an adult. As a child he gained his claim to fame by narrowly missing being cast as the toddler version of Superman.
If you were a friend of Chris’, you felt like a brother, a sister, or a cousin. If you were in his immediate family, Chris left no room for doubt, family was his everything. Chris was enchanting, protective, deeply loving and sensitive to all that life brought. He was so funny and loved to tease, flashing his dimples and brilliant eyes. He will be missed far and wide.
“And sometimes I despair the world will never see another man, like him” (Superman’s Song -Crash Test Dummies).
A Memorial Service for Chris, followed by reception, will be held at McCall Gardens, 4665 Falaise Drive, on Friday, September 16, 2022, at 2:00 pm. As well, all are invited to commune, share stories and memories of Chris at a bbq at Candice’s home afterwards.
Condolences may be offered to the family below.
