After a long illness we are sad to announce the passing of Christopher (Chris) John Hookey age 56 of Enfield, NS, on March 26, 2022. Chris was born September 27, 1965, in Gander, NL. At the time his family lived in Clarenville, NL. They moved to Gander in the late 1960s, then to St. John’s, NL, and returned to Gander in 1979. Chris went to high school in Gander and lived there for many years before moving to Enfield. He was a sheet metal worker, carpenter and an aircraft structural repair technician. He is predeceased by parents Douglas and Eileen Hookey. Survived by brothers Ken, Glenn; sisters Carol, Brenda (Kevin); nieces Emma, Catherine; and nephews Daniel, Jonah. Chris’ ashes will be interred with his parents at the All Saints Cemetery, Gander on Sunday, August 28, 2 pm. officiated by Father William Hearn. All are welcome.
Following the committal service there will be a reception at Stacey’s Funeral Home 2:30 – 4:30. All are welcome
