Obituary
Passed away peacefully in her 91st year with her family by her side. Predeceased by her husbands Lorne Markle and Robert Stevens, good friend and partner Stan DeGraff and brother Adam Scholl (Margaret). Survived by children Sharon Markle (Chris), Ron Markle (Robyn), Rick Markle (Joanne), and Craig Stevens (Corinne). Grandmother to six grandchildren, Scott Markle (Leanne), Shanna Markle (James), Hayley Welsh (Chris), Veronica Froude (Chad), Casey Bearder (Cory), and Steve Markle (Rachel) and Great grandmother to eleven. Christine will be missed by her niece Margie Bejnar and long-time best friend Marie Fetter and friends Eddie and Pam McGinnis. Special thanks to Dr. Read and the nurses at Juravinski Cancer Centre and Dr. Pyle and Dr. Comeau. As per mom’s wishes, there will be no visitation and a private family interment will take place at Millgrove Cemetery.
