Obituary
Christine (Krysia) Mistak (nee Starzynski) died peacefully in sleep after a long battle with cancer at the Ian Anderson House in Oakville on the morning of March 6, 2022.
Christine is predeceased by husband Stanley, mother to Bryan (Mandy) and Robert, Babci to Sydney and William, and Aunt to many nieces and nephews. Christine is survived by twin sister Donna (Chester).
Family and friends will be received at the Ridley Funeral Home, 3080 Lake Shore Blvd. W. (at 14th St., between Islington and Kipling Aves., 416-259-3705) on Thursday March 10th from 10:30am. Funeral Service to be followed in the chapel at 12:00pm. Internment at Assumption Cemetery in Mississauga. Reception to follow at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 101 (3850 Lakeshore Boulevard West, west of Brown’s Line, in front of the Lakeshore GO Station). Guests are required to wear a mask while indoors at both premises.
The family would like to offer their utmost gratitude to the staff at Ian Anderson House for the support and care provided to Christine in her final weeks. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Ian Anderson House or the Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation would be gratefully appreciated.
