Christine Jane Edmonds March 21 2022

Edmonds, Christine Jane –It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Christine Jane Edmonds on March 18th, 2022. She was a daughter of Arthur and the late Stella (Wright) Edmonds. Chris loved gardening, photography, painting, the beach, and enjoying time with her friends, family and her baby, Shortcake. Chris had a strong supportive group of friends, loved and was loved deeply. Chris had her mother’s caring nature, which carried into a career as an LPN and then an EPA. She spent her most recent years at Westmount Elementary. She cared deeply for her kids at school and doing respite, these children and their families really made their way into her heart.
Chris is survived by her father, Arthur; her brother, Arthur (Donna); and sister, Diane. Chris was a proud aunt and great aunt to 19. She taught them strength and optimism. Chris spent her last few weeks living with her nieces and nephews, where she got to make up the time that was taken by the pandemic. Chris passed away peacefully with her family by her side.
She was predeceased by her mother, Stella.
The family wants to thank her nurses and all of her health care providers for their kindness and compassion during the course of her illness and during the final days.
