Christine Irene Tanner Fralick Tuesday June 7th 2022

It is with great sadness that the family of Christine Irene Tanner, 84, of Lunenburg and formerly of Blue Rocks, announce her passing on Tuesday, June 7, 2022 at Fishermen’s Memorial Hospital, Lunenburg.
Born in Blue Rocks, Christine was the daughter of the late Stanley and Ella Jean (Knickle) Fralick.
Christine was a member of St. Barnabas Anglican Church, Blue Rocks. She started her working career at a young age, working for J.J. Kinley, followed by a number of years at the Lunenburg Fish Plant, then she worked alongside her husband Bob lobster fishing. She enjoyed being in the outdoors and loved tending her gardens and taking care of her home.
She is survived by a brother Albert (Delores), Garden Lots; nieces, Nancy Fralick, Angela (Shathani Manako) Fralick, Kimberly (Brian Shay) Fralick; niece-in-law, Inga (Ralph) Ainsley, Lower Sackville; and her longtime friend, Wayne Mosher, Bridgewater.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Robert, brother, Donald and an infant daughter.
Funeral Arrangements are under the direction of the Dana L. Sweeny Funeral Home, 11213 Hwy. # 3, Lunenburg. A graveside committal service will be held on Saturday, June 25 at 11:00 a.m. at the Lower Blue Rocks Cemetery, Blue Rocks, Rev. Heather Ferrier officiating.
The family would like to thank Dr. Beaton, Dr. Watson, and all the staff of the Medical Unit at Fishermen’s Memorial Hospital for their care and compassion shown to Christine.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations, may be made to Fishermen’s Memorial Hospital or Lower Blue Rocks Cemetery, Blue Rocks.
