Obituary of Christina Carol Scribbans
It is with great sadness that the family of Christina Carol Scribbans announce her passing on Monday, December 26, 2022, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born on December 25, 1946, she was a daughter of the late Mary (Hart) and William Mercer.
Christina will be lovingly remembered by her children, Jeffery Scribbans (Deb) of Stoney Creek, Ontario and Michael Scribbans of Ontario; siblings, Ann Marie McDonough (Donald) of Saint John NB, Jack Mercer (Lee) of London, Ontario, Judy Steeves (Murray) of Snowlake, Manitoba, Patrick Mercer (Bernice) of Quispamsis, NB, Larry Mercer (Arlene) of Quispamsis, NB, Ian Mercer (Theresa) of Saint John, NB and Eugene Mercer (Delores) of Saint John, NB.
In addition to her parents, Christina was also predeceased by her husband, William; brothers, Bobby and Tom and sister, Jacqueline.
The family would like to thank the entire staff of the Palliative Care Unit at the Saint John Regional Hospital for all the care and compassion shown to Christina. Your kindness will never be forgotten.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (634-7424). A Celebration of Christina’s life will be held on Friday, December 30, 2022 at 2 o’clock in Brenan’s Reception Centre followed by the interment in Fernhill Cemetery.
