Cheryl Sue Kerr – age 74, of Knoxville passed away Thursday, March 17, 2022 after a long courageous battle with Alzheimer’s. Cheryl was a lifetime member of Asbury United Methodist Church.
Cheryl is preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Dot Lusby and her son, Michael Kerr.
Cheryl is survived by her husband of 55 years, Jim Kerr; son, Jimmy (Jennifer) Kerr; grandchildren, David (Katelyn) Kerr, Kayla Kerr, Brandon Gardner, Nicole Neal, Brent Berry, Jessie Berry; bonus grandson, Chris Blankenship; great-grandchildren, Colton Kerr, Nataly Neal; special nephews, Jerry Lynn Kerr and John Michael Kerr; sister, Jeanne Armstrong, and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
The family would like to offer a special thank you to U. T. Hospice staff, caregivers, Serena Blankenship and Grayson, Jennifer Kerr, Katelyn Kerr and Colton Kerr. The family will have a call of convenience at Bridges Funeral Home on Sunday, March 20, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Graveside service will be Monday, March 21, 2022 at 12:00 PM at Asbury Cemetery.
