Obituary of Charles Henry Osmond
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Charles Henry Osmond announces his passing on Saturday, June 25th, 2022 at Dr. Charles LeGrow Health Centre, at the age of 72 with his loving family by his side. Born in Port aux Basques, Charles was the son of the late Pierce and Catherine Osmond.
Charles leaves to mourn with loving memories, his children; Terry (Glenda) Osmond, Tracey (Chesley) Lomond, Wayne Osmond and Harvey Osmond; his sons Clayton and Charles Osmond and their mother, Heather Francis Osmond, grandchildren; Stephen (Marie), Hillary, Brandon, Iris, Jude, Kyle and Nolan, great grandchildren: Ellie Osmond and Flora Osmond. He will also be sadly missed by his sisters; Una Osmond and Laura Osmond, as well as good friends; Clayton Francis (Joan O’Quinn), Sylvia Francis, Raymond Kinslow, Willard Kettle, and Ray Hodder, a large circle of nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends.
He was predeceased by his brothers; Nelson Osmond, Darrell Osmond, Terry Osmond, and Brother in law, Gerald Osmond. In keeping with Charles’ wishes, cremation has taken place. The family will receive family and friends on Tuesday, June 28 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at Oceanside Funeral Home,23 Read Street, Port aux Basques, a prayer service will start at 8:30p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in Charles’ memory may graciously be made to the family.
