Obituary of Charles David Hunter
Hunter, Charles David
Peacefully, at home in his sleep with his family on February 21, 2022. Dear son of the late Charlotte and Walter Hunter. Beloved husband for 59 years of Gloria Hunter (née Bernicky). Much loved father of Karen Jessup (Dean), and Steve Hunter (Tammy). He will always be remembered as a loving Poppy by Katrina (Justin) and Dylan (Deanna), and step-grandpa to Ashley Best (Zach). Great grand pop to Max, Landyn, Ali, Addi, Jayde and Maverick. Greatly missed by his brother Les (Trudy). Also predeceased by his sister Donna McWilliams. Survived by his sister-in-law Paula Clark, brothers-in-law Cliff McWilliams (Bonnie) and Bob Bernicky (Linda). Greatly missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
He will be remembered by his fun loving ways and his love of music.
Friends are invited to pay their respects on Friday, February 25, 2022 from 1:00pm – 3:00pm. A funeral service will be held in the Chapel at 3:00pm with interment to follow at Hillcrest Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Salvation Army Mississippi-Rideau Lakes Corps or charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.
