Obituary
It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our Dad. Charles David Scott (Dave) born Nov. 20, 1942 and passed May 11, 2022.
Dad passed with his daughters by his side, 7 months after the passing of his life partner of 59 years Brenda Scott on Oct. 5, 2021. He was also predeceased by his son, Kevin; mother, Joyce Scott; sister, Margorie Scott and brother, Warren Scott.
Left to mourn his passing are his children: Kimberly, Robyn (Dave Lemieux), Kelly (Louie Borges) David (Leanne Scott). His grandchildren: Kaitlin Scott, Brittni McIvor, Owen Lemieux, Devyn Dukovac, Brayden Lemieux, Jonallen Scott, Chelsea Scott, Vanessa Borges, Ashlie Borges, Kaelee Scott, Seth Scott, Liberty Scott, Hannah Scott; great-grandchildren: Cullen Scott, Zaithan Scott, Cooper McIvor, Jasper Dukovac and Sadee Scott. He also leaves behind his siblings, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Dave was an avid outdoorsman. He was a hunter until he found photography, then there was no stopping his outdoor adventures, he has left us many beautiful photos of the world seen through his eyes. Whether wild animals or landscapes, we are able to share his memories, some are fun others breathtaking. When not behind the camera you could find him fishing or boating.
Dad served his country in the military for 20 years, then moved on for another 25 years with Corrections Canada, not satisfied with retirement he worked as a commissionaire until finally he packed it in and found his hobby of wood carving.
Dave was a fan of bag pipe music and Stompin Tom Connors and tortured his children on a regular basis with his “quality” music. We are all surprised to find Stompin Tom is something we would grow to love and appreciate, sadly bagpipes never caught our ears.
Our Dad was not a perfect man, but he did love his family. He will be missed. Love you Dad.
Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Charles Scott 2022..
