It is with deep sadness that the family of the late Charles Moores of Rushoon announces his passing. Charles passed away at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Center in Burin on Sunday, January 16th, 2022 at the age of 73.
Leaving to mourn with a lifetime of wonderful memories are his wife Barbara of 46 years; son, Scott of Rushoon; daughter, Glenda Senior (Joe) of Rushoon; sisters, Kathleen Moores, Rose Hollings, and Mary Hayse (Verno); brother, Greg Moores (Eunice); mother-in-law, Mary Lake; 2 precious little boys T.J. and Kobe whom he loved dearly; plus a large circle nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Charles was predeceased by his parents, Charles and Stella Moores; brother, Kevin; father-in-law, Gerard Lake, brother-in-law, Bob Hollings; and special nephew, Brenden.
The Moores family will be accepting visitors at Peninsula Funeral Home in Creston South on
Tuesday, January 18, from 10:00am – 12 noon; 2:00pm – 4:00pm; 7:00pm -9:00pm
Due to Alert Level 4, this will be a walk through visitation only, with one household bubble visiting at a time. Also, please note that masks must be worn in the funeral home at all times and everyone will have to present their VaxPass to enter the building. Due to covid-19 regulations, no food is permitted in the funeral home.
Funeral Service to take place at Peninsula Funeral Home on Wednesday, Jan 19, 2022 at 1:00pm for family and close friends due to COVID physical distancing restrictions. Internment to follow at Rushoon Roman Catholic Cemetery.
In Charles memory donations may be made to The Moores Family or flowers gratefully accepted.
