It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our wonderful father, grandfather, and uncle who peacefully left our world on July 9, 2022 at the age of 86 years. Will forever be in the hearts of Patricia his wife of 63 years, his daughter Diane (Lorne), and his grandchildren Sara and Ryan. Reunited with his beloved son Stephen (2021). Greatly missed by daughterin law Jennifer, many nieces and nephews, and countless new and lifelong friends, both here and abroad. Born in Paisley, Scotland, he immigrated to Canada in 1963 where he worked hard at Ford Motor Company for many years and built a happy, memorable life for his family. He retired early and enjoyed many years traveling to different countries and being instrumental in helping to raise his grandchildren. He was an exceptional man with a gift of eloquence and an extremely generous heart. Words cannot express how much we will miss his quick wit, intelligence, and the deep love he had for his family.
Visitation will be held at Bay Gardens Funeral Home” William J. Markey Chapel” 947 Rymal Road E Hamilton (9055740405) on Friday, July 15, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. 8: 00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Saturday, July 16, 2022 at 9:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
