July 30, 1941 – March 23, 2022

Charles Brake, 80 , of Middle Sackville passed away peacefully at home March 23.
Born i New Waterford, Cape Breton, he was the son of the late Charles and Mary Brake.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years Margaret (Legue). Son Charles Jr., New Hampshire; Daughter Charlene (Kevin), Houston Texas; Grandson Tanner Brake, Fredericton , N B; Granddaughter Sydney Brake, Massachusetts. Several siblings in Cape Breton and Massachusetts.
Charles spent 26 years in the Royal Canadian Navy serving on several ships, also Cornwallis, N S, Dona, Saskatchawan, Chilliwack and Victoria, B C. He was also with the Corp of Commissioners.
Cremation has taken place, at this time there wil be no visitation or service. A friends and family gathering will take place at a later date.
Donations maybe made to the Kidney Foundation.
The family would like to thank the VON, Northwood Home Care, and Barbara Stewart, Pallative Care Nurse for their compassionate care.
