Obituary
Holloran, Charles “Chuck” Thomas – 60, River Philip, passed away August 28, 2022. Son of Marie (Blair) Kidd and Charles L. Holloran. He served in the Royal Canadian Navy on both ships and as a submariner. Later service was as a firefighting instructor with the military. After retiring, he enjoyed carpentry with his father and working in the sugar woods with his best friend, Larry, and always loved being outdoors. Besides his parents, he is survived by his siblings, Denise Holloran, and her children, Drew and Blair; Roslyn Kidd, Andrew, Kelley Ann and Heather Holloran; children, Devan and Shana Holloran; four grandchildren. He is also survived by the children he grew up with, his siblings by love, the Adshade’s, Robert “Bobby”, Cheryl, Melinda, Mae and Rebecca. He is predeceased by “Momma” Pearl Adshade-Cox and “Poppa” George Adshade and their son Leon Adshade; his stepfather, Ian Kidd; best friend, Larry McClary, and their dog, Rocky. Arrangements are in the care of MacDiarmid’s Funeral Home & Crematorium. Graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, September 3 in River Philip Cemetery at the River Philip United Church address. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Canadian Cancer Society or charity of choice.
