Charles A. Kellington
On November 14, 2022, Charles Arthur Kellington, passed away peacefully in his home in Elgin, only 4 days after his late wife of 59 years, Penny. Charlie was the father of Heather (Cameron) and Patricia, grandfather to Jacob, Megan, Logan (Paige), Elle (Jordan) and Madeline and friend to many. Charlie was the most interesting of men. He grew up in Toronto, married the only love of his life, raised their family in the GTA and Montreal, then moved to Seeley’s Bay 24 years ago to start the next chapter in the country. Charlie was always a deep thinker and businessman at heart and his work-life spanned from corporate banking to local politics, and even sheep farming! He loved his family and getting involved in the community by volunteering and giving back. Always on top of current events and an avid reader of all subjects, especially psychology and the human condition
and available for good conversation with anyone. A spirited man. We know he has already reunited with Penny, together again. As per his request, a private family celebration has been scheduled. Donations to the Elgin Food Bank would be appreciated through the care of Scotland Funeral Home, Elgin, ON.
