Celia Doucet 1929 2022

Célia Doucet, 93, of Moncton, passed away on
Wednesday December 21, 2022 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC. Born in
Grand-Sault, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Denise
(Arsenault) DesChênes.
Prior to her retirement, Célia was a teacher and
psychologist. Célia was very dedicated to the
Saint-Louis-de-France parish where she contributed a lot of her
time.
She is survived by one sister, Hilda McKow (Tony) of
Mississauga, ON; six brothers: Paul (Mary) of Capriol, ON, Antoine
(Thérèse) of Québec, QC, Edgar (late
Odette) of Bruce Mines, ON, Alcide (Patricia) of Moncton, Pierre
(Judith) of Ottawa, ON, and Camille of Grand-Sault; as well as several
nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband,
Aristide; two sisters: Florida and Berthille; and one infant brother,
Léo.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and
Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900) where the
funeral service will be celebrated on Friday January 6 at 11 am.
Visiting hours are Friday from 10 am until time of funeral. Interment
will be at Our Lady of Calvary cemetery in Dieppe. In memory of
Célia, a contribution to a charity of the donor’s
choice would be appreciated.
