Obituary of Cecilia Barbara (Marchesin) Liebeck, New Waterford
We are heartbroken to announce the passing of our Loving Mom/Nan, Cecilia [Marchesin] Liebeck, 82, on Wednesday March 30, 2022 at the New Waterford Hospital.
Cecilia, beloved wife of the late Clarence Liebeck, dear Mother of John [Marie], Chris and Les [Kim] and the late Terry Liebeck.
Cecilia was also predeceased by parents, Samuel and Catherine (Getto) Marchesin, brothers, Donald, Joseph, Lloyd, Gary and sisters, Rose Head and Lorraine Burke.
Sadly, missed by her only surviving sister, Madonna Marchesin and by her 9 grand-children, Michael, Victoria, Robbie, Steven, Chelsea, Jonah, Aiden, Ethan, and Matthew and 7 great –grandchildren, Draiden, Kaleb, Haylee, Aiden, Sadie, Brinley, and Mason.
As per Cecilia’s wishes there will be no visitation or service as Cecilia wanted her body donated to Dalhousie University.
Special thanks to the Nurses, Doctors, and staff in the CCU at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital and the 2nd floor staff at the New Waterford Hospital.
Donations may be made to the Rotary Club of New Waterford, The Lung Association of Nova Scotia or Charity of your choice.
