In Loving Memory of Cecile (nee Spencer) Peterson, 79 years, who passed peacefully Thursday, December 1, 2022, at St. Gabriel’s Villa, Chelmsford.
Beloved wife of William “Bill” Peterson predeceased 2016. Loving mother of Shawn (Joanne) and Sherri-Lynn (Darcy Amyotte). Cherished grandmother of Melissa, Matthieu (Jennifer), Christian, Jayden, Zachary, Nadia, Joshua, and great-grandchild Chase.
Cecile was born and raised in Sudbury. She had been a secretary at the Sudbury Catholic School Board for over 20 years. She enjoyed gardening, fishing, and cheering for the Blue Jays. She was devoted to her loving family especially, her precious grandchildren. The light of her life will be cherished by all who knew and loved her. The family expresses their appreciation to the staff of High Falls Residence at St. Gabriel’s Villa.
At Cecile’s request there, will be no funeral visitation or service. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Gabriel’s Villa would be appreciated. Cremation with interment in the family plot at the Sudbury Catholic Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to the Lougheed Funeral Home.
