“White Thunderbird”
With family by his side, Cecil Miness entered the spirit world on December 21, 2022 at the age of 75 years.
Left to treasure Cecil’s memory are his wife of 43 years, Diane, children Patrick, Kirk, Jeff, Valerie, Howard, Tina, Colleen, Terry, Angel and Kingsley and granddaughter Jada, who he raised as his daughter, along with many extended family members and friends.
Cecil was predeceased by his son Scott, grandson Kyle, parents Phillip & Lillian, sisters Dora and Lorraine, brothers Raymond and Ernie and mother and father-in-law Isabel and Donald.
The family would like to thank the nurses on the medical unit and all the staff at Portage District General Hospital for the care Cecil received.
Wake will take place at Keeshkeemaquah Conference Centre on Thursday, December 29, 2022 beginning at 4:00 pm. Feast and Ceremony will be held at Keeshkeemaquah Conference Centre on Friday, December 30, 2022 at noon. Burial will follow at Evergreen Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers are Julian Pashe, Terry Daniels, Grant Jr. Tennant, Tyson Phillips, Myles Roulette and Sheldon Nepinak. Honorary Pallbearers are Warren Merrick, Dwayne Daniels, Kenny Daniels, Marvin Daniels, Timothy Tennant, Bobby Tennant, Billy Tennant and Dani Vanesse.
