Cathrine Ann Linstead passed away peacefully in her home on may 19th 2022.
Cathy was born on March 25th to James M Linstead and Flora P (Pat) Linstead on March 25th 1953.
growing up an army brat Cathy and her older siblings moved around a little bit when they were young. Living briefly in such places as NewfoundLand and Richmond Hill.
Cathy became a mother at a tender age in 1970 to her son John Linstead . The struggle was real being a single mom in the 70s, but she was strong and fiercely independent and gave John a great childhood in a loving home.
She even managed to go back to school and get a college degree in publishing earning herself a decent career and an even better life for her and john.
Cathy was all about Family having 6 siblings Bernard Linstead (deceased) Raymond Linstead (deceased ) Ralph Linstead ,Harry (Lee) Linstead Donald (Donnie) Linstead sister in law Dulce Linstead and sister Tracey Linstead .
Along with being a loving mother to John she was very much a loving mother figure to the younger siblings (Lee,Donnie and Tracey). We all have very special childhood memories with Cathy, especially the cottage, swimming , fishing and making late night fudge. There were trips to the museum , the zoo , the CNE , Center Island and picnics in morningside Park..
Undoubtedly one of her proudest moments was when she welcomed her Grandson Logan Udell Linstead into her loving world. sharing with him a lot of the experiences she had with John while watching him grow into a young man she was very proud of.
Cathy had many Nieces and Nephews . Lisa Linstead , Jessica Wallace , Meghan Buckner, Matthew Wallace , Amanda Linstead , Nicole Folz , Shannon Folz and Courtney Linstead.

Thank you for teaching me how to ride a bike! Cathy Linstead was a very strong women; opinionated yes but with logical conclusions. She had morals I don’t think everyone understood but I did hear her when it came to being resilient. She was a teacher. Something few do right.
Walk with God Cathy Linstead.
