Obituary of Catherine Lee Ann Wilson
It is with profound sadness that the family of Catherine announce her peaceful passing, in her sleep, on Wednesday, January 19, 2022 at her home in Bedford. Born on July 1, 1974, Catherine was the daughter of John Wilson of Windsor and the late Laura (Baxter).
In addition to her father, she is survived by her daughter, Chloe Wilson Rogers, Bedford; Chloe’s father, Logan Rogers, Halifax; sister, Jennifer (Timothy) Bayers, Falmouth; nephew, Evan (Holly) Bayers, Windsor; niece, Abbie Bayers, Fredericton, NB; Chloe’s paternal grandparents, James and Frances Rogers, Waverly; and long-time friend, Vernon Deveau, Beaver Bank.
Catherine earned degrees from Acadia University, Manchester (England) University and NSCC. She made her career in the hospitality industry where she leaves many friends and acquaintances. She was a very quiet, private person whose life was dedicated, above all, to the welfare and happiness of her loving daughter, Chloe.
Arrangements have been entrusted to DeMont Family Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 419 Albert St., Windsor (902-798-8317). Cremation has taken place with a private interment to follow at a later date. Donations in memory of Catherine may be made any local SPCA or a children’s charity of choice.
