Catherine Brand beloved wife of Dale Brand of Calgary, AB, passed away on Sunday, August 28, 2022 at the age of 61 years.
Catherine was born in Calgary, AB, Canada on November 19, 1960, and lived here her whole life. She worked in the oil and gas industry for most of her life, except for when she started her own interior decoration company.
Catherine was passionate about painting and her family proudly displayed her artwork in their houses. She loved to travel and took numerous trips to Latin America. She also spent many summers at the family cabin while growing up, and later at Carefree Resort as an adult.
She will be most remembered for her ability to have a good time while celebrating life.
Besides her loving husband Dale, Catherine is survived by her daughter Tara and son-in-law Yeshua, her brother David, as well as several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Catherine was predeceased by her mother Arlene and her father Richard.
The family is planning a small graveside service at Queen’s Park Cemetery to be followed by a reception at Calgary Crematorium, Chapel.
