Obituary
Arthurs, Catherine Elizabeth (nee St. Denis)- It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Catherine Arthurs peacefully in her 88 th year at Health Sciences North in Sudbury surrounded by family on Aug.21/2022 after having battled many health issues for the past three years. She is survived by her husband Patrick Arthurs of Dowling, Ontario, her children Christopher Keir (Jackie), Michael Keir (Orysia), Mary King (Ian), Patricia Scherer (John), Patrick Keir (Mary Alice) and Molly Prociuk (Jim). Predeceased by her daughter Elizabeth Keir (2008) parents Moise and Hilda St. Denis, siblings Simone Warner, Gerrard St. Denis and Douglas St. Denis. She is survived by numerous loving grand children, great grandchildren nieces and nephews. Catherine was a home maker who loved her family dearly especially her grandchildren and great grand children. She was generous to a fault ready to give a helping hand or sacrifice her last dollar to anyone who needed help regardless if she knew them or not. Her legacy is her kindness. The family would like to thank the doctors and nursing staff of the Stroke Unit at Health Sciences North for their untiring efforts in her treatment and care leading up to her final moments. We would also like to thank the PSW’s who tended to her at home and friends in the community of Dowling for their care, love and support who were always there to lend a helping hand.
