At the
Colville Manor, Souris, the passing of Catherine Mary Smith age 87,
formerly of St. Teresa, devoted wife of the Late Mark Edward Smith,
occurred on Monday, September 5, 2022. Born May 16, 1935,
daughter of the late John and Mary (Morrison) MacGillivray. Catherine
is survived by brother Francis MacGillivray; sister Marion Gallant;
special niece Kathy (Sheldon) Peters; also special nieces, nephews and
cousins. Predeceased by sister-in-law Annie
MacGillivray.
Resting at
Ferguson Logan Montague Funeral Home. No visiting by request. Funeral
Mass to take place on Thursday, September 8, 2022 from St.
Cuthbert’s Catholic Church, St. Teresa at 4:00 pm. Interment
to take place in the Parish Cemetery. Donations to the Colville Manor,
Souris, or St. Cuthbert’s Cemetery Fund.
