Catherine I. Dunn of Springfield, NB passed away on October 14, 2022
at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital. She was born on October 13,
1940 at Springfield, NB, a daughter of the late Irvine and Mildred
(Miller) Dunn.
Catherine was involved with the Boy Scouts of Canada (Ontario) as a
Cub Leader. She was an avid reader, enjoyed crocheting and watching
TV soaps. Catherine loved spending time and keeping in touch with her
family and was very interested in Family Genealogy.
She is survived by two brothers, Bill Dunn, Kingston, ON and Joe Dunn
(Becky), Springfield, NB; a sister-in-law Karen Dunn, Kingston, ON and
a brother-in-law Stephen Brewer, Springfield, NB; several nieces,
nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins; and a special family
friend Liz Porter.
Catherine was predeceased by her parents; two sisters, Audrey Brewer
and Elva Dunn and two brothers Bob Dunn and Sonny Dunn.
Visiting hours will held at Flewelling Funeral Home, 585 Otis Drive,
Nackawic, NB on Wednesday, October 19, 2022 from 12 noon until 2 pm,
followed by the funeral service at 2 pm with Rev. Hollis Clark
officiating assisted by Rev. George Clark. Interment at Upper
Caverhill Cemetery.
For those who wish to make a donation in memory of Catherine, the
family has suggested Hospice Fredericton or Upper Caverhill
Cemetery.
