Catherine “Diane” Martin
March 1, 1948 – May 3, 2022

The death occurred peacefully at Summerset Manor, Summerside PEI on May 3, 2022, of Catherine “Diane” Martin aged 74 years with her husband Bob by her side. Diane was born April 30th,1948 in St. John’s NL to her late parents John and Elizabeth (Burke) Martin. Beloved husband of Robert (Bob) Moores and loving mother of David (Karla) Kreick, Florida, USA and Michael (Clarissa) Kreick of Zurich, Switzerland. Stepmother to Valerie Moores (Daniel Legere) Montreal QC, Christopher Moores (Ursula Codd) BC, and Julie Moores Montreal, QC. Also lovingly remembered by five grandchildren Jensen Desguin, Philip and Ida Kreick, Antonia Hellas, and Nilan Moores and several nieces and nephews. Survived by the following brothers and sisters Mary Hickey, Frank (Margaret) Martin, Lorraine Martin, Virginia Martin, Paul (Holly)Martin, Linda (Randy) Givlin, Gerard (Helena) Martin. Brother-in-law Wayne (Winnie) Moores and predeceased by sisters Geneviève Murphy and Elizabeth Rogers. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, 84 LeMarchant Road, St. John’s, NL. Her family will be receiving visitors on Friday, August 26th from 10:00 am – 1:00 pm followed by a Celebration of Life. Interment will take place at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, St. John’s NL.
