Catherine (Cathy) Doreen Slimon (nee Sneesby)
Peacefully on Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at the Tyndall Building, Selkirk, with her husband by her side, Cathy Slimon, aged 67 years of Gimli, MB passed away.
She is survived by her husband John; her children Mark Richardson, Ky Richardson (Stephanie) and Brandi Wilkins; grandchildren Michelle, Jake, Nichelle, Breeze, Bay, Calliway, Kaid, Brody and Cass; step-children Jamey Slimon and Tracy Sheppard and their families; brother Les Sneesby (Diana); sister Lynne Laramee (Joseph); numerous nieces and nephews.
Cathy was predeceased by her parents George and Alice Sneesby; brother Donald Sneesby and in-laws James and Gloria Slimon.
She was born on November 25, 1954 in Winnipeg and was raised there. Cathy enjoyed gardening, music and being out on the water in the pontoon. She loved being with her grandchildren and her dogs.
Cathy and John travelled to Mexico a number of times and to the U.S.A.
In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held in the summer.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Cathy’s name to the Alzheimer’s Society of Manitoba.
