It is with sadness that the family announces the death of Catharine May (Burgess) Brain, age 94 of Point Edward. She was the dear wife of the late Norman “Fred” Brain and loving mother of Catharine Bouchard, Patricia Brain, Karen Saar, Anne-Marie Adamek (Bernie), grandmother of Kelly Bouchard (Taylor), Lindsay Bouchard, Katlyn Saar, Shaelyn Adamek, Corinne Kershaw (Doug), Karl Adamek, great-grandmother of John, Alex, Kennedy, Boden, Kinley, Oceanna and Arawyn. Sister of Jim Burgess (Sharon), Bill Burgess (Judy) and Don Burgess and sister in law of Liz and Bunny Keilt, Alberta and Greg McCormack and Jerry Brain. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents Gord and Lyla, her brothers Jack, Foster and her sister Barbara Sitzes (Dalt). She was loved by all who knew her. A Point Girl Forever! Sympathy may be expressed through donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association. Private family funeral services by invitation only will be held at the D. J. Robb Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 102 N. Victoria St, Sarnia, ON, N7T 5W9 and followed by interment will follow at Lakeview Cemetery.
