Carson Holtz was peacefully received by his Lord and Saviour at Marianhill, Pembroke on Tuesday July 5, 2002 at the age of 93 years with his loving family by his side. Carson Holtz of Pembroke, beloved husband of the late Verena Holtz (nee Pilatzke–Kielman) for 64 years.
Loving father of Colleen Smith (Craig), Heather Lariviere (Denis) and Carey Holtz. Proud grandpa of Steven (Tamsin), Andrew (Kass) and Tim Smith (Sarah), Nicole (Nathan) and Kristofer Lariviere.
Predeceased by sisters Ida Cotie, Loella Bartlett and brothers Urban, Mahlon, Wilbert, Newton, Norman, Eldad, Lester, Welden Holtz . Carson is survived by sister-in-law Margaret Holtz as well as many nieces and nephews. Son of the late William and Mary (nee Nienkirchen) Holtz.
Special heartfelt thanks to all the staff at Marianhill for their care and compassion during his time with them.
Friends are invited to share their memories of Carson with his family during visitation at the Murphy Funeral Home, 296 Isabella Street, Pembroke on Sunday July 10th from 2;00 pm to 5:30 pm. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Monday July 11th at 11:00 a.m. Interment Zion Evangelical United Cemetery.
In memory of Carson, donations to the Robbie Dean Centre would be appreciated.
